Welcome to www.bettybasics.com.au. This website is operated by Sass Collective Pty Ltd. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Betty Basics. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service", "Terms").
If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, then you may not access the website or use any services.
1. General Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
You understand that your content (excluding payment information), may be transferred unencrypted and may involve transmissions over various networks and changes to conform to technical requirements. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.
2. Accuracy, Completeness and Timeliness of Information
We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions.
We reserve the right to modify the contents of the site at any time but have no obligation to update any information.
3. Pricing and Product Availability
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products at any time.
We make every effort to accurately display product colours and images, but we cannot guarantee your device’s display of any colour will be accurate.
We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue any product at any time.
4. Orders and Payment
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Once you place an order, you’ll receive a confirmation email. This is not an acceptance of your order — it simply confirms we've received it.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including if fraud or unauthorised transactions are suspected.
We accept various payment methods including Shopify Pay, PayPal, Afterpay, ZipPay, and major credit cards.
5. Shipping
We aim to dispatch all orders on the next business day from our Melbourne warehouse.
Shipping is available within Australia and New Zealand, and orders are sent via Australia Post.
Delivery timeframes vary depending on your location and Australia Post’s network. Once dispatched, you’ll receive tracking information via email.
6. Returns & Refunds
We offer refunds in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and our separate Refund Policy.
We do not offer exchanges.

7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including product names, images, descriptions, graphics, logos, and text — is the property of Betty Basics and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without our prior written permission.
8. Third-Party Tools and Links
Certain content, products and services available via our site may include materials from third parties.
We may provide you with access to third-party tools and apps (e.g. Klaviyo, Meta Pixel, TikTok integration), over which we have no control. You acknowledge and agree we provide access “as is” and “as available”.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Betty Basics shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct or indirect damages arising from your use of our products, website, or services.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia.
11. SMS
The Betty Basics mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Betty Basics (“Betty Basics”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
By consenting to Betty Basics’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Betty Basics through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).
You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Betty Basics. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.
We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.
You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to BettyBasics or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Betty Basics mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.
The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
