Who delivers my order?
We use an Australian-owned company called Shippit to send our orders. We chose Shippit because they offer really great customer service – which we know is super important when you’re patiently waiting for your new clothes!
Depending on where you are based, your order will be sent by either Couriers Please or AusPost – we select the courier that delivers your parcel to you the quickest, depending on your location. If you are in New Zealand, we ship your order using DHL Express or SEKO.
When your order leaves our warehouse, it is the responsibility of the courier to deliver it to you. On the tracking email that you receive, there will be a contact phone number for the courier that is delivering your parcel – if you have any questions you can call them.
Please ensure that you provide an appropriate daytime delivery address and you make sure somebody is available to accept your delivery. If no-one is available to accept your delivery, a card will be left with further information on what you must do next.
How can I track my order?

We use Vance Clothing as our third party warehouse partner – they look after our storage, stock, order packing, deliveries and returns. Vance Clothing are a family owned and operated business, and we have been working closely with them for over 5 years.
We do not own any manufacturing facilities, but we take steps to ensure the partners we work with are managed to the highest possible ethical and social standards.

The Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) is a world leading supply chain management system which supports companies in driving compliance and improvements within their supply chains. BSCI provides companies with auditing methodology and reporting tools to help audit, train and influence activities to improve labor conditions and offer safe and positive working environments for factory staff.
As a brand, we want to align with manufacturers who hold the same strong beliefs and are transparent regarding their ethical, social and ecological business standards. These standards fit into 8 key categories:
- Protection of Workers and Zero Child Labor
- Fair and Equal Pay
- Reasonable Working Hours
- Clean and Safe Working Environments
- Positive Health and Wellbeing
- Staff Training and Development
- Reduced Inequalities and Gender Equality
- Adequate Social Space and Activities
Betty Basics is taking steps towards working solely with factories that score well in the above categories in external BSCI audits as well committed to improving sustainability practices by adopting progress through offering a range of sustainable fibers in our design from recycled fibers to BCI accredited Cotton purchased from aligned BCI Member suppliers.
We are adopting progress and working towards a future where we can be certain that every article of clothing from Betty Basics label is manufactured in a fair, sustainable and safe factory by a well-paid, well-trained and happy worker.
Bringing dignity and comfort to women in crisis
Betty Cares Foundation is an Australian registered charity that donates clothing packs to hospitals, refuge centres and organisations caring for women in crisis, across Australia and New Zealand. The women receiving the clothing packs are often victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, pregnancy complications, drug addiction, alcoholism or homelessness.
Betty Cares Foundation believe all women deserve dignity and comfort, whatever their circumstance.
A percentage of every item purchased from the Betty Basics Essentials range, directly funds the Betty Cares Foundation and the clothing packs donated to women in crisis. Betty Cares clothing packs come in sizes 6-22 and include essentials from our Betty Basics range - a top, cardigan and pair of pants - as well as 3 pairs of underwear, all enclosed in a tote bag.
Betty Cares Foundation was established in 2018, following the success of Sass Clothing's partnership donating clothing items to the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne. Betty Basics and Sass Clothing are both members of the same family owned corporate group. The simple gift of giving clothing items, evolved into the Betty Cares Foundation and the clothing packs we donate today.
Sass Clothing are passionate about giving back to the community and believe the first step to a more positive future can be the smallest of gestures.
"The sense of well-being and dignity that comfortable, well-made clothing can make for women is immeasurable"
